I think I fried my PC III. My ‘08 was losing power then surging and stalling and at it’s worst wouldn’t start. I thought a battery terminal was loose or the gas cap vent was clogged but everything check out. I then switched batteries with my ‘05 with no luck. Finally I unplugged the PC III and the bike ran normally again. I went to my local DynoJet dealer and they want to charge me $80 to see if the unit dropped a map and to diagnose it. Does anyone know of a way to test the power commander independently or do I need to replace it?
