Paint Protection for Gen5 tank?

Does anyone sell the Clear Paint protection for a Gen5? I just want it for the tank, so my bag does not scratch it up. Tried cutting some from a single sheet, but that did not work out too well, I really want something cut precise.

Take the parts to your local 3M shop. It'll be done perfectly and shouldn't cost too much. You'll never have to worry about a scratch again.

10-r absolutely rejects tank bags. don't worry about the tank. the '11 paint wore out fast but the '13 paint is better. So, I could care less. How long is you loop that you need to carry crap?

At least I had enough room in the tail for my wallet and cell phone with the Gixxer...not on the 10r...

I carry wallet and phone in tail but no tools. The phone is flip wrapped in foil then wrapped again in cloth. Bumpy back there.

I can't stand tank bags. I love my saddle bags. They're a little pricey but they are so awesome:

I also run a Joe Rocket tail bag. Just took my GEN4 on an 828 mile overnight (left yesterday and got back today). These bags are very stable with the mount system. I also put the connecting strap between the tail bag and the seat and none of the bags move at all, even when doing wheelies.

They should fit the GEN5 as well since the passenger pegs are the same (brackets mount under passenger pegs).

"Really" like my SW-MOTECH quick-lock tank ring bag.

Snaps on, Snaps off, keeps bag just off the tank so the tank bag
doesn't scratch the tank. Comes in several sizes.

I'm using the Evo Sport, it's their medium size bag. 14-21 liter.
