Thats serious stuff he had his power steering belt chromed. Other than this guy having more money than sense the car would be a nice show piece for the builder to show everything he can do. Although i would still never buy that.

So when someone asks what car do you drive or when at a new job and they give in application that inquires your vehicle make and model... how does he answer?

When got insurance and they asked the make and model.. how did that conversation go?

When he makes coffee, does he pour some Starbucks, Folgers, and Nestlecafe?

Legally it would have to stay based off the what ever the VIN number is. I would say more than likely its registered and insured under Honda Civic.

So I take it, he must get pulled over a lot. When LE randomly runs plates and it shows a Honda Civic and sees a BMW, that would show it's stolen or something.

This happened to a friend LONG time ago, bought a Ferrari kit car and fully tricked it out to look as authentic as possible. It was on a Fiero frame and he had some wild stories how LE pulled him over at gun point since they thought it was a stolen car. Fiero lic plates didn't match a Ferrari car lol.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, they say... but c'mon. At what point do you think it's just overkill and ridiculous?

All that work and I'm sure people just think, "Why not save all that money and just start with a BMW?"

If you want to show someone your skills at taking an everyday car and turning it into a kit/upgraded luxury auto, why not really impress us? Try turning a '99 VW Fox into an Audi A4 or something..

I actually saw in Portland a vw that had been transformed into an Audi, looked pretty sick...

As far as this car goes, I can appreciate a good build and hard work, but cmon, really???

Reminds me of the show pump my ride, when they took a Ford escort and transformed it into an M3...anyone see that?
