Hi.

I have a bit of oil in my coolant.
NO coolant in oil, thank good. (Yet?)

It does not smoke, runs totally fine. No powerloss or anything.
So I dont think its head gasket.

I think its the Oil cooler or the Water pump ?

Is there a way to check which one?, as I really think both are expensive (+ I actually dont like the: "Lets just change parts until we by change find what was wrong approach")

In advance, thanks a lot :)

There's no easy way to verify if it's the oil cooler. You'd have to pull it off and try to pressure test it. Not easy to do. It would most likely be the water pump seal itself. But the water pump and oil pump are driven from the same shaft. It's the most likely culprit so you'd have to disassemble that and check/replace the seals. That's the first place to start.

Yes, water pump seal failure. Had that problem in a new FZ1 way back. Once fixed, that bike ran like new well past 100k miles.
