looking for a new oil pan. mine is leaking from the drain bolt, new bolt same. i think i been over torquing all these years, old bolt looks like sombrero. :grin2:

Isn't it possible to get the threads re-cut and buy a new size plug that fits that size? I have never done it but thinking about trying to first find an oil pan than pay for it and shipping and down time, when this may be done.

I would just retap and use a new bolt. I spend $100 on a new pan from someone and was junk also so I just re tapped the hole.
