I'm looking into upgrading my rear shock on my 3rd gen. I know ohlins is very good and probably the way to go....but in doing a little research I came across a suspension company called mupo..... It's made in Italy and is basically the same price as ohlins. Has anyone used mupo before ??? Or what else is good?

Before you even research how that suspension works..Chk out to see if its worth the shipping and your gonna need to have someone to service it or parts....Chk that 1st then look into it to see if and who uses it..But if it ships from italy then i would look closer to home..

I would concur, I've had the Penske double and triple as well as the Elka triple I have now. And for aggressive street and some track the double clicker is all your ever gonna need.

Now the Ohlins comes with a added benefit of a higher and quicker resale because ever one wants one, but over all the penske is the best bang for the buck.

bitubo is an italian shock but has full support in the usa through traxxion dynamics. i have an xxf31 and it is the best shock I have ever owned. i like it better than the ohlins i have had, although to be fair I havent used the new TTX.

My son and I have bought/sold 28 bikes in the last 1 1/2 yrs, keeping 10 for our ..monster garage... our second hobby is unique performance builds and we also own a race team. Having used/tested almost every major suspension thats on the market. Our rider and other rider ive seen Using Mupo suspension set ups have said The Mupo AB1 is the best rear suspension on the market. As for front suspension the Ohlins FGR000 Superbike forks and the MUPO AB1 EVO Superbike forks/triple tree unit are so equal it seems to come down to personal preferance . BOTH cost around 9000$-10,000 but with Mupo you get either 7036? billet aluminum triples OR the CARBON FIBERT TRIPLE TREE UNIT . I dont know if the Carbon fiber triple trees are any better or worse , but they look SO trick its like Superbike Porn lol.

BTW Just as ..CHROME DONT GET YOU HOME.. with Harleys BLING DOESNT DO A THING...with Sportbikes Although we have never used/tested MARZOCCHI suspension
ourselves, I have been consistantly told that there suspensions, despite using the best materials , there design has a tendancy to blow seals at the rate of roughly 3 times in a race season .None of the riders using Marzocchi have been run of the mill commuter/Sportbikes or trackday bikes . Anyone out there use MarZocchi for everyday commuting ?
