I have a set of ohlins forks on my 2004 Zx10r. They do not make the parts to fit the Ohlins forks to the front wheel of the 2004 and 2005 ZX10R any more.
Get ahold of a reputable suspension guy and they will be able to get you set up with cartridges. There is a set of Öhlins on EBAY right now for like $2200 not including shipping that looks to needs a rebuild.
I've got a set, I just got it rebuilt and set up for me and haven't even used them after the rebuild. I'd sell them (only because i'm hurt and i'm not sure l'll be able to ride soon or at all) but it'd be spendy like 2k
Probably I will be buying big lots of parts from a gen5, in order to convert my gen4 into the new gen5 electronics.
mechanically I will be getting a gen5
and all electronics.
I want to know if I need to change something in the transmission also?
Thanks
I have 04 zx10r but I'm putting a port polish head and I was thinking about doing ceramic bearings in my transmission.....I was wondering can I get more power on the bottom end with ceramic bearings or stay stock bearing.....and how much more power will I gain with a 08 port polish head

However, the Kawasaki service-station mechanics told me that when this is installed on the zx10, on full left...
Bled the brakes, took them off to make sure the piston was working and still nothing. Don't know what else to check. It used to be stretched and they swapped the stretch back to the oem swing arm. Said he put the original brake line back on and they needed bled, but it didn't fix the issue.

Looking at getting a new sport bike after many many years. Had a 1975 Kawasaki 900. 1013 cc kit, cam, ported heads, stripped down, glass RR tank, glass seat, Kerker exhaust, full race fairing ran about 165 mph. Not to bad way back then. Had 1987 FZR 1000...
