I think the 1st bike on the right marked Something R........... is the new ZX10R...it has Marchesini style rims and round rotors vs. pitted. BUT....it has a lot of exhaust showing with no fairing, so it makes me think it just might be a new H2R.
The h2r for 2021 is already here, so it cant be thatI think the 1st bike on the right marked Something R........... is the new ZX10R...it has Marchesini style rims and round rotors vs. pitted. BUT....it has a lot of exhaust showing with no fairing, so it makes me think it just might be a new H2R.
The two marked ZX10R and RR do have the current three spoke wheels on them...possibly the zx10R. I would just be disappointed if they kept the 2 spokes on a new model.
But Historically since the 2011.... all new zx10R had a show on its own.
Gen 4 was teased for a few months and had a solo debuted Oct 2010. 2015 had a group debuted to show off the electronic Ohlin's damper.
Gen 5 Had the one day debuted in Italy with Rea and Sykes and the motorcycle show.
The 2017 RR if I recall was shown with the other bikes, 2018 SE, then 2019 new motor had a revel with the other bikes (released one day per bike).
So I am expecting the new engine they made...same frame mild update to fairings, led headlights and new TFT dash.
Almost like a Gen 5.5 vs. full on Gen 6.
Kaw usually tease us with the new model, and once Rea won the championship they got very quiet about launching a new bike.
Anyway this is my armchair analyst of it all lol.
Every superbike manufacturer has been doing that and I think its a smart way of minimizing costs; updating the base model and making a homologation special. The R1 (along with the R1M) has same model from 15-17, update for 18-19 and another update 20+. Suzuki had the GSXR 17-18 and updated for 19-20. Ducati updates their V4R homologation special yearly. ZX-10R (and ZX-10RR) 16-18, updated for 19-20. BMW is adding their new M model next year along with their base model.I wonder if they are going to go the Honda Route .... one version is the current zx10R but updated, and the RR is an all new version
