U wouldnt call jason brighton ernie vigil or nick brocha squids if they decided to stunt a 10 would u, and u might say that theyre pros well they started somewhere. I dont see anything wrong with turning a 10 into a stunt bike just dont do it in flip flops and a wife beater.

Stunting has def taken on a total professional foothold on the industry...sure its still demmed kinda thug or hooligan mainly because of the origination...Streets illegally and unsafe by more often than not young crazy ass white boys and the lottsa killer black, latin, asian, german, etc etc stunters.
Gear is highly recommended and in most of the new sponsors for pro stunting are gear companies.
Well you can go on about any bike can be a stunt bike but I talk to Nick Brocha, Eric Hoenshell, and Darius Khasabi and there are reasons they all use 600s. How and where your power is delivered in the RPM range is a big factor. Yes you can stunt any bike. Should you, no. I remember when D was stunting R1s like they were going out of style but then things slowed down and moved to lots and not freeways. You want a legit stunt bike then stick to a 600, you want to do highway highchairs and shit then a liter bike is fine. I stunted a 900 and it just doesn't feel right
Ure right, absolutely. If I was lot stunting today I wouldnt be doing it on a 10. But when I do which is next to never anymore (Allergic to handcuffs and REALLY dont like running so...10 7-10 is really enough for me, lol)
This has been suggested a few times over the years and has always been shot down. That's not to say things haven't changed.
If there's enough positive replies for one, I can make it happen
No, I totally understand its a diff breed so to speak.
If you dont mind I'll post a link of my local stunt section, which I started and see that model.

:+1: count me as a vote. or :+2: hehe I like the idea.
as long as it doesn't flood the forum with a buncha bro crap that goes along with stunters i'm all for it, i think stunting is stupid but i respect the skill required to do it. my main issue is most stunters are tools, douchebags or bro's.
also, the zx10r isn't usually stunted because they tend to break apart easily from stunting, gen 1's cracked welds like they were gsxrs
Yeah I heard about that, never saw it happen.
The guys on my site were more mature stunters for the most part maybe because it began as a local core forum type "Hub", so we had the gear threads and the flaming and arguments, lol
Never for get the time a local girl (Who may actually be a membere here...statred drag racing a 10 later) crashed out at a spot when a dog ran in front of her up on one at 70+.
21 yrs old...6 breaks (Clavicle, collarbone, 4 ribs, punctured lung, rash for days, blood clot, what else...oh, bat shit crazy on a shit ton of meds, hurting like hell and it got really ugly w/diff liabilities questions and choices made on scene, etc.
Oh did I mention I was suggesting a stunt section here, lmfao!!!
"I'm a ... Crack up"!!! lol
I love stunt riding and watching it etc. but I don't think there needs to be a place on the forum for a bike that is very rarely stunted. There are plenty of stunting forums for that. I don't think maybe three members need their own section
I stunt mine as often as it would allow, out on an open or fairly slow highway or bridge...fucking love it, and there is no feeling (For me) sweeter than giving a family from up north (Did that in the rain actually, beautiful smooth ass glass wheelie...watched the girl in the back seat go from bored as hell to excited, entertained and probably turned the on)...a bored single cougar, or car full of little kids a thrill and memory that's priceless.
But...I d alwasy assume I collect an average of 25-30 "Asshole's"! on a busy bike night. It is what it is, never said I was grown.
1.) What 9 are those? Just curious.
2.) I vote yes. For the most part Im not a stunter fan. I have mad respect for the skills they have. I respect the work it takes to learn it. The dents, dings, cuts, road rash, stitches, casts and general soreness from the crashing and for the life of me I wish I could do a mad stoppie. This is a ZX-10R forum and if there are 10R stunters out there then they should be more than welcome here to share in the community and knowledge base here.
A sick stoppie would be tits...I tried and tried but I think (To learn at least) the mods for a super effective stoppie machine are not cheap and pretty extensive...You can wheelie or rollin burnout 100% easier on a stock bike.
you are right, but usually they gotta be modded like crazy, try it on a new bike and it will turn out bad.. I don't stunt at all and never did, never was my thing however if there is a segment of the zx-10 owners that use them for stunting there is no reason a site for that type of rider should be prevented from being discussed on the ZX-10R.Net site, I mean the site is not for old riders or guys that just ride to work and home or the track, there was no mention of that, its for any and all riders or anyone that enjoys the zx-10r..that would include stunters.. its only fair.. At the same time it does not mean they don't have rules and conduct expectations, no exceptions. Either way even this thread alone is a good start at seeing where the site could be more inclusive.
Very good points and well said!!! Check that link to my other site.
Not sure I would wanna spearhead this, Im actually shocked at all the response I got, why I took the time to respond to all the choice comments individually.
Ive never really had a stunt go bad on my "Nicer bikes" other than blown seals I think.
People talk about wheelies every now and then, but that's pretty much where it ends. I haven't seen any discussions about any other stunts (but I don't read everything here). I suspect that there may be a FAQ "1. How do I wheelie? 2. How do I stoppie?", and then an occasional post once per season. Maybe someone could create a poll, but not like "are you ok with a stunt section?", and instead "if there was a stunting section, would you actively participate in it?"
Did you read what you said Zilcho??? Not clowning on ya but you stated the obvious kinda...you havent seen any info or real discussion because you dont really have a set venure for that.
Were youn asking "Would I participate"?
Absolutely!! Ive got a shit ton of personal pics/knowledge/Tips/ memories-stories...and alot of the great video links.
If guys are running a zx10r and aren't already on here, adding a stunt section won't do it. I don't think we need a whole section for the little wheelies, etc. that is discussed. If it takes a stunt section to get guys here then they aren't advocates for the zx10r they are just advocates of the stunt world.
You kinda belittle alot of really cool, professional, advocotes of a sport bike lifestyle even if alot of em are...Younger maybe, tatted, pierced, crazy, pimped, stripper loving, goofballs.
But again, look at the Jaon Brittons, Kane 1, Aaron colton who started stuntin pretty high level at 14 trs old! And dont for get my bro Jesse Toler!!!
Tampa, fl native...huge positive image of a great stunter.
I highly recommend a youtube search of Jesse...most recently know for...
Longest AND fastest distance stoppie EVER, got his name in the book last yr I believe...Guiness book of world records...
