from kawasaki website it does say you can on the fly.. The convenient handle switch allows the type of traction control to be changed by selecting one of the three modes, even while riding.
So if the bike is running in the sense of moving, you cannot change them.... or you can change them with the throttle closed.?

My 2015 would not switch on the fly until after it was flashed. The bike had to be stopped completely.

Yeh it can not be switched on the go, according to the manual. It is kind of misleading, one point it states "throttle needs to be closed" so i assumed it meant, moving but just keep the throttle closed. Although it states "when changing the mode, stop the motorcycle." So def. need to be stopped!
Only when the throttle is closed completly

So to be try when the motorcycle is moving, but how to close the throttle completly when the bike is moving ????
I just leave it on default, F1 and watch throttle but not closely.
you can't turn tc off unless bike is stationary. You can change tc and pwr while moving but with throttle closed. The ONLY difference a flash makes is it allows you to turn tc off while moving and the tc will stay off when you turn bike off then back on. While with no flash when you turn tc off and kill the bike it'll default back to tc1 when bike is started again.
