from kawasaki website it does say you can on the fly.. The convenient handle switch allows the type of traction control to be changed by selecting one of the three modes, even while riding.

well looking at kawasaki site it does say you can change them on the fly.. never really messed with it while riding down the road myself.. its always in full power mode and traction off.. =PSo if the bike is running in the sense of moving, you cannot change them.... or you can change them with the throttle closed.?
