Looks like I'm joining the club! Found a 2011 zx10r is pretty good condition and I want itttt. I'll be bringing it home sometime this week I think and couldn't be more excited! This is the first liter bike I've ever owned and frankly after the test rides it was the most comfortable bike I've ever been on hands down it handled just like a small bike would just with all the extra power haha glad to be joining the club so I figured I'd say hey and introduce myself! Pics of the bike in question below. Only roughly 8k on the dash ain't bad for a 12 year old bike. Still rides buttery smooth and will pull your arms off trying to hold on 😂👍😇

Somebody really put some thought into that design. It looks really great.

That's what I thought it had to have been a custom, it's got a pearl clearcoat on it too so when it rides by it shimmers all kinds of metallic colors. Only sad thing is there are 3 small chips/breaks in them causing the paint to peel back. That will need to be mended and color matched to bring it back to 100% but totally worth it imo to find someone to restore.

If you can get the paint matched well, I feel like the bike would look even better if the gold extended onto the tank side panels.

Welcome and congrats!!!
That’s a great find ,bike is clean .
If your interested in upgrading the tail section from a Gen 5 ZX10R let me know .
I have a complete black metallic tail section in mint condition .
How would that work does the gen5 fit directly onto the gen4 or is there modification needing to be done to bolt up?
