thank's to all for reply's,one is the power commander cable(small one)and the bigger of the two is scottoiler supply hose with a black nylon oversleave for looks..the red ring on ignition is ???if any one knows please tell.(maybe just a deterant to theving scum).

it`s a immobilizer system. Bike will only run with the original key. If it gets stolen, at least the ecu and immobilizer antenna will have to be replaced to run the bike. AFAIK only euro spec bikes have them.
