No, I bought the bike from a coworker that bought it new in June 2018.at 12 miles...let me guess, you found a dealer up here that offers test rides.
Get him fired for being mentally unsound. Only a crazy person would have a ZX10R at their disposal and not ride it!No, I bought the bike from a coworker that bought it new in June 2018.
He had it to the shop once to change the oil. He took it there in a truck.Did your coworker have the transmission recall done? If not, something to schedule.
Diver knows, judging by his starter part question.Get him fired for being mentally unsound. Only a crazy person would have a ZX10R at their disposal and not ride it!
Check whether your dealer mechanic has done this before. I bought mine as a new/old-stock unit from another state. The out-of-state dealer said they have done the mod, but it didn't shift to neutral properly when at a stop (you could still engage first gear from second at a stop). The local dealer fixed it no problem though and it doesn't take long thanks to the cassette design. He had it to the shop once to change the oil. He took it there in a truck.
The answer is he didn't have the recall done.
I just checked and the recall starts at vin 000014 and mine is 000182, so my bike is affected.
Replaced the gear for the starter and now it starts. Have got it up to just under 400 miles now. I can't wait to see what this thing will do after its broke in and I can open it up.Get him fired for being mentally unsound. Only a crazy person would have a ZX10R at their disposal and not ride it!
