Howdy, Everyone!

I just bought an 06 zx10 as my second bike and thought that this would be the right place for information. I'm from Houston and like to use my bike for commuting and spirited weekend riding, my previous bike was a 94 VFR 750. I was mostly concerned with the ergonomics and power differences between the two bikes, but i'm in love with the extra power from the little bit that the weather has allowed me to ride. I'm going to give it some time to see how i adjust (since i am coming from a sport-tourer) to the handlebar angle and height, but i am eyeballing a set of helibars or convertibars.

Thanks for all of the information available, and I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions as i dig into my bike.

Congrats! Gen2's ROCK!

Make sure you have some stomp grips on the tank, learn
to use your knees more and ride using your core before making
any changes to the ergo's.

Once you start dragging a knee you will love the ergo's!

Just saying.

And try not to get to many speeding tickets.

I wouldn't touch the ergos unless it was just some clipons with a little rise or something. Also, I have Vortex rearsets on mine from Mike at Rider's Discount and can drop and move forward 5mm if I want. I'm currently at down 5mm and stock front to back.

Thanks for the welcome!:grin2:

As far as mods the bike has:
Pazzo levers, M4 exhaust, adjustable rear sets (unsure of brand), power commander 3 usb, and fiberglass fairings (which i consider a plus).
My spools just showed up today so i can do my new owner maintenance (tires, chain/sprockets, brake pads, fluids and filters).

I've uploaded a few pictures, it takes pictures better than it looks currently (one of the previous owners rattlecanned it for paint) - but i wanted a white one anyway so it's just an excuse to paint it.
