I have A 2007 zx10r today I went For a little ride, I noticed My temp gauge was jumping all crazy. Say it went from 180 to 225 down to 160 to 205 and then would jump as 180 to 170 to 160.. I checked Connections cleaned them also cleaned and checked ground cables, and made sure it had coolant in bike. Any suggestions

Couple things. First thing to do is purge the cooling system. If there's air in it then it can throw the sensor off. Air in the system is bad and if that's there, then you likely have other issues going on. But if that all checks out, then the sensor itself should be replaced.
