I bought my 04 back in April of 04 and have been in love with it since. I have been always meaning to put some mods on, but newly married it just wasn't the right time. I now have the means and plan to put about $2,000 dollars into it when I get home. I have a paint job on it now (which I wish I had never gotten) and a D&D exhaust which is horrible and steel braided brake cables. Other than that the bike is bone stock and it time to really spice it up. I plan on getting an Akra pipe and a power commander for it I was just wondering what PERFORMANCE mods do some of you suggest. Appreciate in help

You would have thought that being a member as long as I have that I would have known that. Sorry

Not so much performance but I bought a speedohealer which was a worthy mod. Cost about 100.00 I think.

Alot of guys going with the GIpro gear indicator w/ Auto/TRE. That'll run you about 130.00-150.00.

I'd pick up a steering damper. 350-500 depending on what brand.

Also get some new tires depending on what condition yours are in. Mich. 2CT and Corsa III's are excellent. Lot of people went to the 55 profile as opposed to the 50 which has gotten good reviews.

You could also do a conversion kit and change the gearing. Lot of people have had success with that.

Lots of others can give you more info on performance mods but these are things I'd consider changing. You already got the SS brake lines which are a good improvement and some guys are even switching over to the Nissin ones of the ZX14 and 6R and raving about them.

Hope this helps.

Also a good pair of rearsets are a very worthy mod. Once again not sure if this is the type of "performance" your interested in but a awesome mod to get done.
