Ok so I am looking into a new exhaust either yoshi, akra, or two bros...
Now this might be the wrong section but I need to know if I should let someone else do the work or if I should myself.... I'm mechanically inclined but was told after you do exhaust work you need to change the air/fuel ratio (that's what my problem is).

Any input would be much appreciated.

Do it yourself and then get the woolich tune kit. Exhaust isn't that hard. If you don't feel comfortable installing tunes you can take it to a local shop and get the tuning done.

So just a slip on won't need much tuning I read? But I can change that... Now what about the butterfly exhaust valve n the fi light how do I avoid that or can someone steer me in the right direction.

When you flash your ECU you won't have to worry about the FI light. I just removed the exhaust valve and the cables. They are just dead weight. If you don't want to flash your ECU you can either leave the valve in and remove the cables or get a Exhaust valve eliminator plug that tricks the ECU.
