Hello everyone,

So I need to squeeze another reliable 10-15 horsepower out of my 2011 and I'm pretty sure that apart from nos, engine work is my only option. It has 1/6th throttle tube, bmc race filter, all emissions removed and Pair valves blocked off, guhl ecu flash, pcv with custom tune and Austin racing slip on exhaust (no cat). The secondary throttle bodies are still in. The bike made 178 on the Dyno. Should I just do a thinner headgasket and remove the secondary butterflies, then retune? Should I do race cams and port and polish? What are the gains? Trying to spend less than 3k or around there n

Since you're in Long Beach, I'd simply drive over to Attack Performance in Huntington Beach and tell them what you're after and your budget.

They'll be able to put a package together for you that should meet both your goals and budget.

Thinner head gasket might gain you a negligible 2hp. I would talk to a local bike specialist and have the head decked, thinner head gasket, port work, maybe an intake cam and have them degreed to what you are looking for.
