Hows it goin everybody, well I'm moving to Phoenix on November 30th or close to that. I'm going to be going to school at MMI and am moving by myself. Well almost myself the bike too of course. I thought I'd try here first before Craigslist or elsewhere. I'm 25 and am looking for someone who might need a roommate. I'm a very dedicated individual to my personal goals and am very busy. I work full time, will be going to school full time and will be riding my bike @ the track full time. I'm as clean as roommates come and all I'm bringing with me is my bike and some personal belongings. I'm not looking for anything long term. Anywhere from a few weeks to a year tops if its right for both parties. Let me know with a pm if anyone has a room to rent, or small apartment. Thanks in advance,

When i moved out here for MMI the set up a apt for me and me friend. They also gave us a roommate to help with the rent. I would ask them and see what they say.

I'm good on what the school is offering...I've found places on Craigslist many for 3-4 hundred dollars in nice homes w/ gated communities, pool, grill, large bedrooms and garages. Not to mention luxury's like granite counter tops and other ammenities. $3-$4 hundred to live like that I think is money well spent. + I'm not into the party and drink all night bullshit. I work hard and plan on living with other adult professionals who work hard...Thanx for the post ^^^^first one so far....Craigslist is looking very promising so far.

Hey. I'm one of the dudes who flamed you for going to MMI months ago and tried to talk you out of it =)

Aside from that, you're on the right track avaoiding school housing. Those apt complex's have nasty bouts with motorcycle theft becaust the thieves know that new students are always coming into town, and many of them don't get set up with locks right away.

I wasn't a party animal either. I was there to learn, and then get out of there. Hit up Craigslist for sure. Def try to get a spot in a garage, or at least a spot where you can park your bike behind a fence away from street view. Other than that...good luck out there! Have fun. You will learn some things. I won't rehash old arguments ;-) Enjoy meeting new people,the excitement of it all. I know I was excited. Phoenix was an interesting town. Try to go hiking at a place that used to be called Squaw Peak east several miles off Glendale ave. Nice hike, great views. Other than that, I was there in '95-'96, so I'm sure too much has changed as far as restaurants, hangouts, etc.

Thanks dude, that other thread I started I got a good variety of opinions so I could try and decide if it was for me. After talking to my privateer friend who owns Hawkeye Superbikes I've decided to go. He graduated from Phoenix around 8 years ago...Thanks...later...

It will be about 6 weeks from now...I"ll hollar for sure, I'll be doing mostly track days. Bike isn't the most street legal machine right now...I'll pm you when I get out there.
