I purchased a new Akra Carbon slip on from Slava at Flatout (Props to the sponsors). When installing the midpipe? I followed Akra's instructions (WD-40 and all) and still have a gap between that and the header. I lightly tapped but it wouldn't go any further. Is that normal? I checked for leaks and had no issues there. :dontknow:

I guess it's more of a "if it ain't broke" senario.
After removing the stock midpipe and spacer I was left with
a 1/2"-1" gap, space, etc. between the (r) end of the new midpipe
and header that was once covered by the original spacer.
More cosmetic than anything. If it looks like it should be covered
I (as a man) want to cover it, fix it. You know what I mean?
It doesn't affect anything mechanically.
