The ultra quick version:
Ordered a set of tires, wanted them to go to an APO AE address and they said they would ship USPS but if they were damaged it would be on me and they are not covering it.
I am fine with this, as i already paid them.

They then come back after the fact of saying this and having my money saying they wont ship them.
Yet they are more than happy to take my money on some BST wheels or Ohlins forks and ship them...Guess the Profit margin is just not there?

Needless to say i wont be dealing with them again...
If your in the military and overseas i would strongly encourage you to not buy ____ from them.

You don't need to be military for them to screw you. I don't see how they stay in business.

Yes they will lie including changing prices after they have your money. They did offer me a $5 discount after they upped the price over a $100 on an item that was originally $110.

Really? I've had nothing but good luck with them and you cant deny their drop dead low prices. However, I've only bought three things and they were three, relatively cheap items so I guess I haven't delt with them on the level that you guys have. Now you have me worried as I was going to use them much more in the future. :dontknow:

They screwed me around when I ordered from them as well. REALLY pissed me off because they basically tried to tell me that I told them to screw me around. I had a large order, but they weren't sending it and delayed me for weeks. Then they said that I wanted to be delayed LOL so I told the guy if he didn't send the majority of the order I would just cancel. I mean the guy just straight up lied to me on the phone. And he was the one who I talked to on the other phone conversations. Always get names. Meh.

+1, I've spent over $2k over the past two years with MM and have never had a problem. I always call to see if my items are in stock and usually have my stuff in two days. Corey & Erin are cool, down to earth people and I've never known anyone to have a problem with them.

Well, I will say this they did have good prices for what I was after. I bought a HyperPro Active damper/Gilles rearsets/Spiegler lines/and a couple other things. Spent a good chunk of change. If he would have said that there was a delay for a real reason I would have been OK with it...for example the Spiegler lines was a wait and I was cool with it. But to just blow smoke up my ass about why the rest of the order didn't ship rubbed me the wrong way. I had talked to him on multiple occasions in both E-mail and Telephone because they kept pushing the shipping date again and again. Then to tell me that I wanted them to push the date? Uhh NO! Send me my stuff now or cancel the order. I should have had this stuff 3 weeks ago. Blah...just irks me, ya know? Funny too, the Sato Ti hanger was going to be purchased originally from Orient Express...but they wanted less at MM...then the hanger showed up late and it was drop-shipped from Orient Express. But hey I still only payed the MM price so...

This is just my experience, I am glad others have had better experiences. They do have pretty good prices and the free shipping is also very nice. I saved a bunch on the damper too...I almost bought it from HardRacing but they wanted WAY more than MM.

Overall I would still order from MM, but maybe only smaller orders I am thinking. Kinda mixed feelings I guess.

I delt with Corey as well...typically i buy just about everything from superbike supply as MARY is hands down the best to deal with and she is there to help you out with the sales, shipping and what ever you need and she has good prices.
The price on the tires from MM was good for sure, but in the end 303 cycle beat it and is shipping them out no BS....

As we explained to you in an email we don't ship tires, rims, stands, or plastics out of the continental U.S at all. It has nothing to do with profit margins because as you seemed to key in on ohlins forks, bst's, etc you forget we do ship windscreen bolts which we don't make anything on after shipping and actually lose money if that's all someone orders. Also we don't ship rims out of the country either. Nobody overseas or out of the country has EVER had them shipped to them (apo as we all know is physically out of the country). The only way is if you want to wire transfer the money and we will openly tell you that the risk is fully on you. Those items are too bulky, oddly shaped, etc and we don't feel comfortable being able to get them to you in safe condition so we don't do it. Trust me, we would love to make a sale on those items, but not if we are not 100% confident in getting the item to you safely. we do ship items to apo's everyday, but not those select few items and you're not a specific example as we haven't shipped those items to anyone out of the continental US. I wish we could, but with the packaging it takes the costs are astronomical and even then we had issues with the shipping companies with those items due to their weight/size.

We didn't do anything to you. We clearly explained to you our policy. It's a policy that has been in place for years. Regardless, sorry you feel that way, but the policy we won't change. Some products just don't take well to be transported around the world and to do so safetly they require packaging that then makes the shipping cost so ridiculous that it's not worth it. We just won't take the risk with your parts unless we are confident you'll get them in perfect shape. You can think of it as us screwing you, but we are just making sure that our customers get their products in perfect condition.

If anyone wants to discuss this further feel free to contact us. Ride safe everyone.

We are liars? Yes, we took your money before we answered your question because you emailed us on the 21st which was a Saturday in which we were closed for a dealer show. We answered your email on the 23rd (a monday, a day we are closed) at 10pmish. What you failed to tell everyone is that you ordered on the 21st before we even responded to you.

I don't see how we lied anywhere? Anyway, here are the emails with your name and email blotted out. Just to prove we didn't lie anywhere or anytime to you.

Also if you read our free shipping policy it states that we don't ship those products to Alaska, Hawaii, or APO's. Anyway, glad you got you your tires and thanks for serving. Did nearly 10 years myself.

This is really simple, ask to speak to the manager to fix it. If they don't, tell them you will write this whole story and post it on 4-6 DOZEN motorcycle forums in the US and UK, and will file a complaint with the bbb, etc.

That usually get's their attention.
Works for me when a company tries to pull a fast one. The Internet is your freind and can ruin a business (not by much, but a small percentage, if you are internet savy and know where and how to post with their name in it, google can pick it up in search engines and people will know), I doubt they'd like to loose %20 of thier business and not get new ones because of one guy.

Update: Well, I said I might order something smaller...so I did. I ordered some MagicalRacing CF mirrors from Motomummy on October 6th. On the 8th, I received an order status update saying that they had to wait 1-2 weeks for the mounting plates to get in stock. Well, as I checked my status to see if anything changed in the interim, I noticed that they took the mirrors down off the site. I ordered type 2 mirrors, but all mirror types were gone. Kinda funny I thought...well check this out: I received an E-mail from Motomummy today telling me that they could not source the mirror mounting plates, and they were cancelling my order.

Funny thing is, I have already sourced ALL parts for these mirrors. I ordered a set that had short stems, and I was anticipating picking up an additional set of super long stems so I could have functionality as well as aesthetics. So to tell me that they couldn't get the plates is BS.

What I really think happened, was they had the mirrors for only 200 dollars, and with the free shipping and 5 cash back, it was only 195 shipped. I am guessing that they weren't going to make enough money from this sale, so they just decided to cancel the friggin' order 15 days after the order was placed. Nice guys, nice.

I was kinda on the fence...my first order was in excess of a grand and they jerked me around and lied to me but did finally deliver the items. The price and free shipping is what lured me in...same as this time. They can get the mounting plates, they just do not want to honor their commitment. I will NEVER DO BUSINESS with these guys again. BUYER BEWARE.

Happy friggin' birthday to me from Motomummy! :headshake
