Saw these on another board, a steal at only 1k, these are the same wheels the Moto GP boys run.

i emailed him. i agree, somethings not right. also he says 04-09, youd need dif size spacers to fit in between the gens

No street tires.
But yes, especially on that board, you have to know what your getting. Probably a guy thats got connections to race teams. But you never know.

No one noticed the name? Brant Wiwi. There's a superbikes episode where they follow privateer racers. He was one of them with a 05-06 zx6r (or rr, I don't know). I would guess as a privateer racer he just needs to sell his old race stuff to get new wheels for the new bike. You're right, you would need different spacers, but the wheel itself would fit the different models. I would assume they are old race wheels though, and as such aren't perfect. Tire changes & rash possibly.

Brant Wiwi, spelling not sure, he races WSMC and is one of their faster riders, he is legit. As far as the wheels go, no idea why such a good deal.

With the new rules in AMA not allowing 16.5" wheels,

the wheels/tires are not popular in racing was they were before

There are no 16.5 street tires. For sure you'd have to run slicks.

Unfourtunately, there's NO street rubber in 16.5 and since the AMA switched to Spec 17" rubber there's not much in the way of race rubber either or I'd already have purchased a set of those wheels.:dontknow:
