Hi,

I want to replace my clocks as they have a slight crack, does the mileage of my existing bike remain on new/used clocks or is the mileage on the new/used clocks what is shown once connected to my bike ?

Didn't want to buy some higher mileage ones if that is going to show up.

the odometer is stored in the circuit board of the cluster.
edit: so yes if you buy a used one whatever mileage that shows on that cluster will be what your bike displays.

Yes the mileage is stored in the cluster. To retain your accurate mileage you can do two things. You can buy the case pieces individually from Kawasaki. Or, you can buy some gauges swap out your cracked case with the new one and resell those gauges with your cracked case.

I would buy a brand new one, put 1 mile on it and try to sell the bike, maybe a guy thinking it will do 230 mph will buy it.
