I have to decide tomorrow if I want to get the KRT or the Matt Gray ZX10R. Has anybody tried to wax or rub a light scratch out of the Matt one. I like the looks but wondering how to clean it and maintain it. Thank you

Ive owned several "flat finished" OEM painted bikes. Typically if you use rubbing compound on them, it will shine it up some. Overall though, regular cleaning is a no brainer and the finish stays perfect. I've got the 16' flat black non ABS. Just did a thorough cleaning after an Arkansas trip. Cleaned up very well.

The matte finish is so easy to maintain, I love it!
A shot of pledge on a rag, wipe her down, and that's it, looks great!

So, only half my bike is matte, the upper, lower, and solo cowl are gloss...I love spending 2 minutes wiping the tail and mid fairings and then I'm like "damn, I gotta Polish and wax the other half of my bike, there goes my morning" lol...
