I have these gloves. These gloves, hands down (no pun intended), offer the MOST protection/features for the money.

So, I just got these today from the seller.... I paid for them July 20th. Ya'll do the math on that. I actually got worried enough after a month that I had to file a claim, long after giving up trying to get a tracking number to work (though I did try contacting over a dozen carriers first). Turns out the seller is not CONUS, but failed to disclose that. I'll take the hit there for not asking.

A week after getting a refund from paypal, they show up. New, but not 'the most recent version"; they are V14's, but not the MKIII that have been out for a while now. That may sound like a small quibble, but I could have got the old version stateside in less than 3 days for the same price. I'll take the hit there too for not verifying the ACTUAL product version from that pic he posted.

But I just sent the seller back the money anyway. I was pretty pissed about the whole thing as I wanted these for a 2K mile trip I just did, but I'm not going to rip him off over it.

Caveat emptor, folks.

your a good dude that's a crazy long time.....
Wow, thanks for posting. OP said in his post, "most recent version" which appears to be a mistake?

I have thought and this seems like an appropriate place to say, the for sale rules (or enforcement thereof are very lax around here.

Some basic forum for sale rules I have seen in the past to protect the forum community:

1) Require location in avatar info box
2) Require photo with date and username with product being sold
3) Require picture of size if applicable
4) Require several, clear pictures
5) Have a minimum amount of post, to make a for sale thread or even view the classifieds section
7) No feeler posts
8) Everything must have a price
9) No asking for buyer to pay paypal fees
10) No removing price from items once sold or deleting for sale posts
11) Strict enforcement of the rules

Among others...

Personally I would make sure I left trader rating to reflect your experience.
Well, I left appropriate feedback. But in the end, I got exactly what I deserved for the due diligence I put in to the deal.... just wanted to make sure that the people in this community didn't make the same mistake, both with their expectations and diligence.

I try not to leave negative feedback with people. I realize shit happens, especially because of all the odds and ends I make for people and the spare parts I sell/give away. I personally feel that people are too quick to leave the Big Red Sad Face on a profile because they don't get -exactly- what they want... and I don't want to be that guy. I do remember mail order days before the instant gratification of internet commerce. I think we all should take a step back and be more patient/understanding........ but finding a reasonable balance between what I WANT, and what people can actually GIVE is an ongoing study where I try to be as forgiving as is reasonable. But that's just me, I suppose.
