Did the search and didn't find exactly what I was seeking. Has anyone installed the kit intake cam in the stock position (not degreed). Just wondering as I have a tune up coming and was considering installing the cam, but I don't have the cash or tools to degree the cams. No doubt the cam would have a positive effect at any timing and in the stock location it wouldn't be ideal, but would it be acceptable? Secondly, if I did this, in what part of the power band would the power increases be, I'm mostly looking for mid-range as this is a 98% street bike. Thanks for the advice in advance.

I don't know if anyone has but I think stock the degree range varies. I don't think it will hut the bike at all if you put it in on stock holes i think stock is anywhere from 107 to 104 degrees intake and forgot what it was on exhaust......we usually degree them so we know its spot on but you could try putting it on and seeing what degree they are at.
