I was hanging around the dealership yesterday waiting for the grease monkeys to put a new set of tires on my 10 (because I don't know how to do it) and it occurred to me that as far as I knew Kawasaki didn't put KIMS on the new ZX6, and they didn't put it on the ZX14 as far as I know either. That seems a little strange to me.

Is it because of cost? Does the 6 not need it as much as the 10 because it makes less power? Why not on the 14 then? Or is Kawi done playing around with traction control on stock bikes for now? Sorry if this has been covered before, just something that kept me entertained while I wandered around the dealership.

Good question. I would think they would apply it to other bikes also. :dontknow:

Probably because the 10 is more race oriented than the 14, and the 6 has less problem because of less power. JMHO.
