Hi everybody
2004 ZX-10 owner.

I did make my search but i could not find a clear answer.
Strangely,in my opinion,after 10000miles the head bearings need replacement.
I can feel a click when braking but more importantly there is "stopping"gap just in the middle between far left and far right.Trying to fix the clicking makes the gap worse.
My current mechanic says to use the original kawi items but others saying that aftermarket is ok.The difference in price is the double against the kawi.
What to you think?

(I have to mention that the bearings right now are NOT the Kawi ones,the original lasted for 30000miles,i went for aftermarket and now they need replacement,but i am suspicious that the previous mechanic did not did the work properly,as i am driving the same roads ,the same style and speed.
Finally ,who is following the whole procedure as the manual says?)

Go with allballz tapered bearings, there about $35 bucks...

I use allballs racing bearings ..... They are definitely a upgrade to the factory bearings......

Thanks a lot but unfortunately but i will have to settle for KOYO(made in japan),because i cannot find these in Europe.

Thank you for the information but allballsracing are not easy to find in Greece-Europe so i will buy KOYO.

I have had races crack on the allballz brand installing but never with the oems. I like the oems better IMO.
