Yes definitely a gen 3 and with that color scheme a 2010 to be exact. He dont know his bike very well. Offer him a cheaper price and if he wont budge then go and buy a real 2011 for not much more money. A gen 4 is a much more superior bike.

Gen 3 went from 2008-2010. That's a 2010 version with that color scheme and styling. He probably bought it in 2011 as a left over and doesn't know what he's talking about.

Different locations have different selling prices so its hard to say. Something could be cheaper here in the states because there is a lot more available? With that being said that converts to 6,800 usd and here it would probably be a 1000$ cheaper for one in good shape. But like i said i dont know the market over there so that could be a good deal?

No it wont show 2010 on logbook if it was first registered in 2011 it will show 2011, the actually year of manufacture is not a DVLA requirement.

For £5400 i would be finding a little more and getting a G4 you can get 2011-12 G4's for £6000 + now, it would bother me spending that top price on a G3 when for a little more i can have a newer model (which is better)

The difference between g3 and g4 is massive in specs etc, so will se how this rolls out on the weekend..looks mint with good few extras on it , incl quickshit etc.
