Srry, I had this in the other "wifey bike" post but figured I should move it.

This is her 4th session out on a street bike ( she has a dirt background).
So yes, I got her a R6 for her first bike!

The first picture had the front at stock height, and I have lowered the front 1 inch (which shows in the last pic).
I need to raise the rear up a little bit to make it level. But I will do this when she is more comfy.

Why a R6? b/c it was cheap (3k), lowered, and had frame sliders.

I would've lowered it and put on frame sliders anyway.

it also has the chrome windscreen, anodized pegs, Yoshi slip-on, swingarm spools. So, to her it was "pretty"
What can I say, the guy we bought from was 100% mexican!!

It needed a carb clean, carb diaphram (80), fuel pump(200), and a fork job and it was good to go.

Unfortunatly, the battery died last night - so I gotta pick one up tonight!

Yes, the rear is too low. Like I said - I got it from a mexican who didnt speak 1 word of English except "cash"

But for now, I will keep it at this height til she gets more comfortable on it.

:+1: I agree with him. It will ride that much better if it's balanced.
