It could be true, but I damn sure ain't going to try and find out.... been there, done that & have no desire to throw money at a solution to a problem that doesn't exist to begin with.
...indeed. You can also ask yourself this: is the 1-2% (or less) improvement in power within the standard error factors between runs? And are you ever going to notice 1-2% power difference on this bike?
...I guess on a macro scale if I can get to the coffee shop 1% quicker for the rest of my life it would justify the install time.
