Nope never heard of this news.....I always felt Kawi bikes had bad luck since 2004 and couldn't figure out why they weren't putting up BIG #s......this just says it all Kawi is awesome that is flying. ...not to take away from the rider though I have been to the Isle of Man and only the Biggest Balls in the world ride that event.

:+1:..I swear it's like they have the infamous "black cloud" hovering over them wherever they're at and whatever they're trying to run/race with.I still gotta try and keep the faith in team green though.....

Ya.... I fuggin saw that crap. :headshake

I will say, there was a moment when my smile went from ear to ear.

But when he did his pit stop, he stalled it. Then they got it running again, but there was that ker-chunk sound. Made me pause until he took off again. Looked like everything was great, until he pulled off the road. :eyecrazy:

Talk about mis-fortune. He was killing it! Not only was he so far ahead of the pack, he was the only Kawi in the top 10. I guess he was a local too.

they have just been showing the uk road racing series here, and i have been surprised by the effort and number of ZX10r in the field.

the first race i just watched (southern 100) the finishing order went something like Honda, Kawi, Kawi, Kawi. the northwest 200 race on last weekend was pretty similar.

Ryan Farquar and Connor Cummins are riding the balls off that thing!

some of his results on that page.

is there something about the Gen 3 that makes it suitable for road racing, but shit on closed circuit racing? perhaps the extra lean, speed and effort required on the track is just a bit too much for the ZX10r?
the wsbk commentators were talking about kawasaki not being able to get the gen 3 to turn as well as the more competitive superbikes like the RSV4, which would hurt it on any closed course.

however, the IOM TT mountain course is more about straight line speed and stability, which is definitely in the zx10s favor. thus, it does well in the TT.
