I’m was just confused cuz a lot of the 2011 I see don’t have the blue ohlins sticker.

I got the 2011, and the damper looks the same. What makes you think its from a g3?

Blue threw me off; I still have that bike, so went out and checked. Same damper but no blue.

Cheaper to etch the logo than put a sticker on; 2011+ is etched, prior years/aftermarket have sticker. These are the tricks the OEM's do to save money without sacrificing quality.

Shouldn't really make a difference if blue sticker oem or etched oem gen3 or 4 same thing. What you'll wanna test is its dampening the oem ones weak af compared to aftermarket at full dampening setting

Part numbers are identical; you can have them revalved for $100 and they work like a true ohlins damper.
