Tough to tell from the video. I suspect the damaged side covers are causing the tick or maybe the cam chain. The fact that it runs like it does is a positive thing. I'd want to know what's causing the FI light first though.

In my search to find a running 3rd gen zx10r motor i have come across the engine in the link please give your advise/opinion on wither the noise is from the exhaust or if you believe it is an internal issue.
