Hi :hello: guys,
I am unable to push (by hand) the pistol back far enough, so i can place the caliper back on the brake disc. What do i need to do?:dontknow:

use an old pad and screwdriver to apply leverage against the piston. pad goes against the piston. Keep an eye on the fluid level.

get a pair of stronger hands!!! Just grab the caliper, and use both your thumbs to push the piston back in. Thats really it...

Go to the local hardware store and buy a c-clamp and manually push it back in.

Clamp her...should be a piece of cake? Is it binding up?

thanks guys...
dont forget to use the old brake pad with the c-clamp method, and yes watch the flid levl, take some out if you dont feel comfortable.2 ounces of prevention worth ten pounds of cure.happy hunting.:badteeth:pS is that an 06 zx10 the front calipers are some what problematic for some of us. There are threds on this issue in prefomance section.
