Guys,

This noise is driving me crazy. :BangHead: I see in other threads mention "rubber on the key" to help reduce the noise. Could someone explain what is meant by this? Also, what other options have those that had this problem done? I refuse to take my bike to my local dealer. They are horrible. I had to drive to Ohio to buy my bike so I didn't have to deal with them.

If you take the bolts out holding the ign cylinder in and put some thread sealer or some blue thread locker on them it should fix the rattle, later...

I was reading that the bolts need to be drilled out? Is this true? What method did you use? As for the key solution, I found what was meant by "rubber on the key", but the solution you are suggesting sound more permanent.
