gsxr 1000 06 model. lookin at buying one of these, it has aftermarket fairings that dont fit well and only one original key.
are these keys micro chipped like the zx10r key?
are there any decent fitting fairing kits available or does anyone know where there is an oem set ( australia )

I have read pretty good things about Auctmarts fairings. They are an Ebay store, I priced an entire set shipped for under 600 bucks. Members on gixxerforum.com have had some good things to says about them. ABS plastic like OEM, paint quality is quite good and the fit is pretty good. If you fit all the pieces on with the fasteners loose and adjust the lines before you tighten the hardware, they actually seem to fit pretty damn good. For the price, a little extra effort installing them is to be expected.

I have an 04 GSX-R1000 and my key does not have a chip, not 100% sure about the K6...

They are awesome bikes, if I hit the lottery, Ild buy one. Of course I would own one of every bike worth having!
