Great News!
We are happy to announce we are improving security across our network and adding Secure Sockets Layer or SSL to the site. This means going forward you'll see Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS); the secure version of HTTP, the protocol used to send data between your browser and the website that you are connected to. This means all communications between your browser and the website will have another layer of encryption. We take the security of your data seriously so updates like this do happen from time to time. There is no downtime or major issues anticipated in this change. If you do notice anything about the site operating not as it should please make sure we are the first to know. You can send a PM to this account with details and we can investigate. Thanks, and if you have any questions about this let me know.

Hmmm....

Not sure if anyone has reported, but for me all avatars and attachments are broken, Avatars show a broken link symbol.

That's on Desktop, Chrome, Firebird and Explorer.

Mobile and tablet everything is fine.

A post from ninjah2.org

Thanks for letting us know. This same issue has been happening on other sites that we have recently migrated to Google Cloud, so our tech team is aware of the issue and is currently working out a fix. I will let them know that this issue is happening here on www.ninjah2.org. Apologies for the inconvenience. Hopefully everything will be back in working order soon.

Hi folks,

So, as you may know by now, we have been migrating our sites over to a new server (Google Cloud) in order to help improve outages, site speed, and security. While doing this change, we are also converting our sites to HTTPS, which you can read more about here: https://techterms.com/definition/https

You may have noticed that, since these changes have been implemented, there have been a number of different issues popping up here on zx-10r.net. We are working with Google and VBulletin to help us find long term solutions to these issues rather than bandage fixes and patches, which seem to break more than they repair.

We understand that these updates have been impacting your experience on the site, and we hope you understand that our tech team is trying to address all of the issues. We really do apologize for any inconvenience, and hope to have the forums back up and running to their full capacity as soon as possible.

If you are experiencing specific issues with the site, please try to only report them if you are certain that they have not already been logged. This will ensure the support team is focused on identifying new issues and helping test the fixes as they are rolled out.

Many thanks!

Erik

is it talking about cookies?
then yeah, it's normal, something we have to implement for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
If you save your cookies, they shouldn't be appearing that frequently.
