I bought my 05 brand new and it was stolen about a year later. Since then i have been riding my 05 636 and have loved every minute of it.

Its been long overdue, but finally i got another 10r. its a green 08 with 2500 miles that i got for 7k bucks. Needless to say im in LOVE! this is such a nice bike to ride and is smooth all over. The guy i got it from put brand new bt016's on it and got the oil changed and i had the shop do a full inspection before i got it. Im gonna turn my 636 into a track bike and make some minor mods to my new 10r and just enjoy the hell out of it!

i hate the stock hugger, down the road i may get an 09 6r hugger, but for now no hugger is better than the stock piece.

not havin' a go atcha or anything, just wonderin' about your reasoning.

Actually, not much crud, the 08 arm is so massivly braced and beefy around the shock area, it does a godd job of keeping the junk out of the shock area and off the tail as well. Its just a looks thing on removing it, unless you are riding in the rain storms or mudding, you are fine removing it.
