Hi all.....quick question.........

At wht RPM does ur 10 idle?......wht is ideal? and wht will happen if the idling is increased...........my 10 has done over 2000kms,akra slip on,no pc3...nothin,almost stock.......idles at bout 1300rpm......

kaw says 1100 is ideal or somethin lik tht....but wht do u`s think.....whts the best idle RPM...?

Mine when cold idle's about 1500rpm, then after warming up about 1250-1300rpm

No problems with mine

I keep mine around 1000 rpm. But that's just my prefrence.

Book say 1,100 +/- 50. Having the idle too high puts a lot of stress on the transmission when you put it in gear.

the idle can be adjusted. on the left side is a black tube with a phelip head screw. you can turn it by hand or phileip screw driver. mine at 1100.

actually its a pressure relief valve for Mr Johnson so now we know why your always reachin down there. :crackup:

That explains the clunk going into first gear in stop and go traffic, mine runs at 1100 - 1150rpm.
