I purchased a zx10r 2006, and it hadn't been started for a year and a half, also it was not winterized. I drained the fuel. Changed battery, oil and spark plugs. When you turn the ignition the fuel pump runs, the bike cranks, if you crank it more and flood it the fuel/air mixture comes out of exaust in the form of barely visible fog, so it has fuel. If you crank again next day (to let the fuel evaporate) it still doesnt start. The bike didn't start with old spark plugs either.
