My 10 is back from the dead! A local racer bought the remains at auction and raced her last weekend. I was checking out some of his 636s in the pits and walked over to a 10R. I saw the Arata pipe bent under the swingarm and said "Hey, you got that at auction didn't you?!" For those who don't know, USAA wanted $4K to sell my 10 back to me. I got them to buy me a 636 instead. We talked about the bike's setup and the work that needs to be done to get it kicking ass on the racetrack. We both were glad things worked out the way they did in the long run 'cause we both have fantastic bikes. I'm glad to see my old bike found a new home and will live out the rest of her days doing what she was born to do - race!
