Fitting a gen5 tail end on a gen4.
Its not simple but its achievable
.
You need the subframe silver top part, the black sides are the same.

.
The undertray. Its huge on the gen5. Nearly a meter long and holds the light in the top of it.
The front seat is the same as gen4 so you only need the pillion seat.
You do need the plastic ecu bracket as it holds both the tilt sensor and the top piece of the tail fairing in place.
The gen4 lock/ cable and latch are all a direct fit.
If you are buying new parts you will need a few bits that are fitted in the panels and undetray like 4 threaded inserts. Two plastic poppers. 2 screws. Rubber grommet for light wires to go through.
I used bolts out of my gen4 rear end and 4 extra fairing bolts to bolt the sides to the undertray.

.
The tank has got to be removed to get to the front fixings.
Ideal time to fit new shock and links in there like i did.
.
The rear light is different. It has a wire coming out so you have to cut the bike loom and light wire and connect them up. Gen4 screws are the same at the front of the light but you need 2 more smaller ones at the rear.
