lookin to buy a new ohlins rear shock this winter and wanted to know if anyone had any idea on what they run pricewise for the ttx and other model for a 2008 zx10r....and if there are any suggestions for a more wallet friendly shock manufacturer please feel free to chime in

It looks like it will run you around $1400 new and you'd be lucky to find a used one for maybe $800-1000.

I've heard really good things about Penske & Elka as well.

Maybe check with the site sponsors for quotes.

i would go with racetech i had really good luck with them on my 1st gen and am sending them my forks to get done as we type there rear shock is much more affordable
