Well I could have been working, but I had all these mods to do and it was going to rain for three days. So, guess what? I spent three days in the garage. ZX-14 calipers, braided lines, new set of BT016s, block off plates and airbox plugged, new spark plugs, new air filter and painted the front fork skirts to match the bike. I finished Saturday and was able to get out on Sunday. Had to take it a little easy. It was cool and I had new tires. But, I must say the feed back from the tires was amazing, just need a warmer day to scuff them in good. The brakes: I want the whole world to know, I NOW HAVE BRAKES!!! One finger brakes at that. No popping on decel, and it seems to have tightened up the lower rpms. But with 9200 miles it could be in combination with the filter and plugs. There is potential in this bike just have to spend some money and time to find it.

Yea shojivic, I normally don't ride at night. If I do I just take the lens covers off. They are held in place by tabs of industrial velcro. I knew the stuff that came with them to attach to the lens was not even going to work. They stay on well over 100mph now. Thanks guys for the compliments. I've spent a lot of time getting her the way I wanted.

Time is definitely the key word here. when i purchased my 07 it was close to garbage in the handling department. After a shock the right rates and some track tuning i got the general settings on point. Of course i adjust to individual tracks but once you find the sweet spot its great to be on a kawi because around the mid atlantic area at least with Nesba you never see fast kawi 1k's. Rare breed :eek:ccasion1 Still gotta muscle it through a few switch backs though ;-)
