Well I've had different brands of sportbikes over the last 12 years but I always seem to gravitate back to Kawasaki.. Just picked up my new '16 KRT and so far only had a few rides but loving it already. I think the pegs are a little too high but not a big deal. I still have to get the sag set, and it feels like the shock kicks back a little too much so I'll add a few clicks of rebound damping and see how that feels. One thing I love about this bike is despite how heavily its influenced by WSBK rules with a track bias, its still so smooth and civilized to ride around town or in traffic on. Nice job Kawi

Congrats on the bike- I bought the 16 krt as well and loving it. Be safe and enjoy! Now you need to get rid of that cat and get a nice can and get her flashed and the list is endless lol.

Take care

Yes the list is always endless on what to do to bikes.. unfortunately here in CA the Draconian restrictions the state imposes on exhausts mean I need to really research anything before I buy. I think its actually illegal now to modify any exhaust on any new bike in any way in CA.. Of course Ill do it anyway, just in an educated way. For me handling is more important than power on a literbike anyway, so I really want to get sag set/suspension sorted, clean up reflectors/fender elim/mirrors, and just ride the hell out of it while looking into exhausts.. At some point in the future I might think about getting some Marchesini forged aluminum wheels. I know from experience lighter, stronger wheels are easily the single best performance enhancement you can make to a sportbike, better than what an exhaust will do for you. Also just ordered a Antigravity battery that's 6 pounds less than the stock super heavy battery
