Well this all started yesterday when my buddy puked a hg on a nitrous pull on the dyno. I talked to him today about it and he asked me about the head bolts on my 10 since I will be spraying it next season. I didnt really have an answer for him nor have I heard much on the subject. Does anybody know how much power or nitrous the stock bolts will hold up to? I will be using a kawi .45 gasket by the way.

Without detonation, it should hold a lot. I would run race gas over 50hp, and if you are spraying 80 or more, keep your mixture rich (12:1 or lower), retard your ignition timing, and think about cylinder studs.

Deal with two wheel werkz directly, cheaper than going through schnitz. Just bought a second set. Keep in mind that you have to purchase the nuts for the studs separately.
