well if so would like to know. i was told by Dynojet that the old shifters will not work on the pc5

Dynojet is right... PC III require a Normally Open sensor, while PC-V a Normally Close.

You can't get a PC-III to work with a PC-V,if you hook it up you will probably get a cut at the rpm's you set as a "minimum rpm threshold" for the shifter activation without pressing the lever...

Or you will press the lever to change the gear ( nothing happens) and when you release it you will then feel the cut...

Dynojet sucks... :thefinger

is that all it wants to see? so if i use a normally closed switch then i can get it to work?
