Hey all.

I've got my first track day coming up on 8/29. http://www.njmotorsportspark.com/ hosted by SBT.

Ive got boots, gloves, leather jacket but i'm in need of a pair of pants.

Now I know protection + safety should be my #1 concern, but at the same time I do not want to break the bank and I highly doubt i'll get two MAYBE three track days in this year. I'll worry about getting high end $$$ stuff another day in time. Have a 4mos. old and between that, work, and the wife....

Any recommendations ? I've been looking for deals on the net, but nothing.

I see the Teknic Chicane leather pants not bad of a deal. Not too bad looking either.

i'm a big guy. 6'1 @ 251lbs. Athletic build. Big lower body (played ice hockey most of my life).

NYC, the tracks i've been to require a two piece that zips together. Some tracks dont even require leather and let cordura in, as long as it zips together! Plenty of deals out there just keep searching on Craigslist!! Good luck!
