I looked back and saw a few similar posts from the ‘08-‘10 region but not much recent. I was night riding with my cousin last night, ambient temp about 55F, and we switched bikes, allowing me to see that the headers of my ‘18 glowed dull red while riding but looked normal as soon as we came to idle. Doing about 60-70 and he said he was in 3rd-4th. The bike is currently bone stock. Anybody else notice this? It looked pretty badass but just wondering if it’s normal.

Yes they will glow red. This is normal. Faster you go the more glow you will get.. =) Check out some ninja h2 or h2r videos hauling ass they get very red.

Interesting observation as I never ride at night so had no clue that we can actually see headers glow with hot bike; but have noticed that they turn a nice shade of layered blue when I'm down there changing out a tire.
